MUC 278 - Diverse Ensembles for the Music Classroom, 2 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MUC 271 This course will focus on non-western classical music ensembles for the K-12 music classroom. Students will learn about how to organize, create, and plan for these diverse ensembles through guided readings, class discussions, and guest lectures by specialists in each area. Students will also gain experience for the various diverse ensembles through hands-on participation. Supervised clinical and field experiences of 10 hours is required.
