HIS 347I - Celtic and Medieval Britain, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): One 100-level history course HIS 347I is an advanced study of the Celtic and Medieval periods of English/British history. It covers the beginnings of England and the Celtic Isles, the unification of Britain, the Norman Conquest, and the rise of the nation-state. Also included is the early evolution of Parliament and the development of the system of common law, and conflicts such as the Hundred Years’ War.
