MTH 140 - Precalculus Mathematics, 4 credit hours


Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of high school Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry are prerequisites for all Mathematics courses. Students are required to have passed the Baldwin Wallace mathematics placement test or to have scored at least 22 on the quantitative portion of the ACT or at least 520 on the quantitative portion of the SAT.
A University-level review of algebra, trigonometry and analytic geometry. The course is designed to prepare students for the study of calculus. A graphing calculator is required, and will be used extensively.
