BIS 340 - Visualizing Data for Business Analysis, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): ECN 279 or FNC 280 or CSC 280 or CSC 141 or ACC 245 , junior standing, and MTH 120 /121 or higher. This course examines the analysis of information or data to support business strategy decisions by focusing on techniques for creating effective visualizations for business analysis. The course builds on both the theoretical and hands-on components using current visualization software and is targeted towards business students interested in building visualizations of business data to improve business performance. Knowledge of computer programming is not required.
