Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and Baldwin Wallace University have partnered for a 3+3 program. Eligible students complete 91 credits at BW, and then their senior year is their first year of law school. After the successful completion of their first year of law school, 29 credits are transferred to BW for a total of 120 credits. This shortens the amount of time to complete an undergraduate degree and law degree in six years instead of seven. Students are at BW for three years, and Cleveland-Marshall Law School for three years (3+3).

BW Requirements
In order to be eligible, BW students must:

  • Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.6 after completion of the 91 credits.
  • Complete the BW Core
  • Complete the Legal Studies Minor
  • Work out a degree plan with the relevant department to complete their major. This program is open to BW students in any major in any department that wishes to participate.

Cleveland-Marshall School of Law Requirements
Cleveland-Marshall requires that BW students must complete the usual law school application, including taking the LSAT, no later than February of their third year at BW. Students must score in the 60th percentile or above on the LSAT. Once completing these application requirements, after a recommendation by the faculty pre-law advisor at BW and the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid at the Cleveland-Marshall, the student is guaranteed admission. BW students are eligible for all scholarship opportunities available to regular applicants.
