CAS 432 - Advanced Studies in Film Theory and Criticism, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): CAS 107 or CAS 108I and CAS 222 This course provides advanced understanding of film as a cultural medium through the discussion of key theoretical and critical approaches. Theoretical and critical approaches discussed may include: realist theory, genre criticism, auteur theory, structuralism, feminist theory, and journalistic criticism.
