EDU 207 - Planning and Guiding Young Children in the Inclusive Early Childhood Setting, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): EDU 203 Corequisite(s): EDU 214 In this course, students will examine factors which are necessary to create responsive learning environments for young children. They will also learn to plan developmentally appropriate instruction and will consider the varied curricular domains of effective early childhood programs. This course will further introduce students to techniques for guiding, supporting, and encouraging young children’s positive behavior using Positive Behavior Support Interventions (PBIS).
