HIS 355 - Modern America: 1920-1945, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): One 100 or 200-level history course A study of the growth of the United States as an urban -industrial nation and consequent problems of economic power and political adjustment. The course highlights the growth of the United States as a world power. Topics discussed include the end of World War I, the Roaring Twenties, the agony of the Depression Thirties and World War II at home and abroad.
