SOC 223 - Juvenile Delinquency and the Juvenile Justice System, 3 credit hours This course examines competing theories of juvenile delinquency as well as measures which aid in the prevention and control of this behavior. Juvenile justice procedures and cases are presented. Attention is also given to the social consequences of juvenile delinquency and corresponding legal and social reactions.
