ASW 650 - Exercise Physiology Lab, 2 credit hours

Corequisite(s): ASW 520 & ASW 623
The laboratory course provides applied laboratory experiences related to quantitative and qualitative assessments of human movement and the exercise response related to metabolic, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Emphasis will include advanced measurement techniques in postural and gait analysis, maximal exercise testing, electrocardiography assessment, lactate and glucose measurement, and anaerobic assessment. Application of advanced fitness and health-related measures for clinical, public health, health-fitness, worksite, and other settings will be emphasized.
