CSC 480 - Senior Software Engineering Project I, 3 credit hours

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing; CSC 311 with a “C” or better.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: CSC 310

This two-semester sequence is designed to be a capstone experience in the software engineering major that provides the opportunity to identify, formulate, and solve a complex engineering problem by applying engineering, science, and mathematics principles. The projects will be large-scale and complex, requiring students to apply engineering principles and programming techniques from previous courses. Teams of students will complete the project. At the end of the experience, a final report and presentation will be required.
