This course is aligned with the National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) Building Standards (1,3-7), Ohio’s Standards for Principals (2018) (6-10) and the administrative knowledge, dispositions, and performances needed to understand and demonstrate the capacity to promote the current and future success and well-being of each student and adult by applying the knowledge, skills, and commitments necessary to collaboratively lead, design, and implement a school mission, vision, and process for continuous improvement that reflects a core set of values and priorities that include data use, technology, equity, diversity, digital citizenship, and community. Special topic speakers and panels of practicing building/district leaders from the field are included as part of the periodic live virtual sessions.
