FRN 310I - The Making of France, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): FRN 202 or equivalent recommended. A study of the civilization of “hexagonal” France as it has evolved from its origins up until the Fifth Republic (1958). Students will analyze selected sites, persons, political and social institutions, philosophical and aesthetic movements that have shaped the psyche of the French nation and French national identity.
