HIS 352 - Jefferson-Jackson, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): One 100 or 200-level history course A study of the United States from the Constitutional Convention of 1787 to the mid-nineteenth century. Topics will include the first and second political party systems, the War of 1812, westward expansion, slavery, reform movements, the transportation and communications revolutions, and the Mexican War.
