DSA 401 - Applied Machine Learning, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MTH 235 or MTH 279 or FNC 280 ; and CSC 280 . All with a “C” or better. This course focuses on the use and application of machine learning tools, techniques, and algorithms to data analysis. We will explore the three main branches of machine learning: supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. We will examine common algorithms and applications to data analysis/prediction. You will gain hands-on, practical experience working with existing machine learning libraries to solve problems of interest.
