ECN 349 - Labor Economics, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): ECN 120 or ECN 121 Application of microeconomic theory to the analysis of the 21st century American labor market. Labor supply and demand, human capital investment, compensating wage differential, labor mobility, occupational segregation, labor market discrimination, and government policies are examined in the context of current trends and institutional features highlighting the differing employment experiences of men-women, racial and ethnic groups, and other marginalized groups in modern America.
