HIS 356 - Recent America: 1945-present, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): One 100 or 200-level history course A study of domestic and foreign issues in America from 1945 to the present. In-depth analysis of major political, social and economic changes and adaptations. Emphasis is placed on change and continuity in domestic and foreign policies in the cold-war Forties, the “flat” Fifties, the “sick” Sixties, the “selfish” Seventies and the early Eighties.
