HIS 323 - Enlightenment, French Revolution, and Napoleon, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): One 100 or 200-level history course HIS 323 is an advanced study of the Enlightenment, the French Revolution, and the Napoleonic Era. This course follows the philosophical developments of the Enlightenment, many of which formed the rhetorical basis for the events of the French Revolution, which deposed monarchy in favor of a republic. The course will conclude with an examination of the Napoleonic Era.
