ASW 215 - Foundations of Health and Wellness Professionals, 3 credit hours

Designed to introduce students to the field of health education through the consideration of the historical, philosophical, and behavioral perspectives of the field. Consideration of the theoretical models of health and health education, professional ethical issues, and the guiding principles of the operation of health education in schools, community, and in public health agencies will be examined.
