ASW 222W - Community Health, 3 credit hours

A study of health problems affecting entire populations, the social determinates of health, environmental pollution, communicable disease control, and the health risks of community living. The course surveys how community action works to reduce such risks, describes the administration and organization of government, quasi-government, and non-government health agencies, and provides an overview of methods and solutions for meeting community health needs.
