PSY 315 - Child Development, 4 credit hours Prerequisite(s): PSY 100 and PSY 205 or EDU 203 or EDU 205 The span of life from birth until puberty is examined with a focus on the following areas of development: genetics, prenatal, physical, perceptual, cognitive, language, emotional, social, self-concept, gender, and moral development. Also addressed will be the influence of various contexts including the family, peers, school, and society.
