MTH 113 - Math for Primary Education Part 2, 4 credit hours

Prerequisite(s): MTH 111 or permission of the instructor. Students who have not successfully completed a high school geometry course should make special arrangements for tutoring in geometry prior to enrolling in this course.
Open to primary education majors only. A continuation of MTH 111, this course examines the ideas and concepts of geometry and measurements. Included are a study of measurement in one, two and three dimensions, properties and classification of two and three dimensional geometric objects and basic statistical displays.
