MUC 349 - Music Theatre for the Non-Major 2, 2 credit hours

Prerequisite(s): MUC/MUL 249, THE 101, and acceptance to the Music Theatre Emphasis program.
Students apply fundamental skills to the performance of Music Theatre repertoire exploring song interpretation, self-presentation and specific performance choices. Students also learn the art of the music theatre audition including how to choose and prepare material and how to present themselves professionally. Course ends in a Music Theatre Emphasis showcase performance.
