MUC 118 - Songwriting, 2 credit hours

This course is designed to develop students’ songwriting skills through analysis, weekly assignments, and larger creative projects. Students will share works-in-progress, receive constructive feedback, and refine their craft in a supportive and collaborative environment. All students are expected to be able to sing their own songs. While prior musical training is not required, familiarity with an instrument such as piano, guitar, or ukulele is highly recommended.
