ASW 370 - Advocacy in Action, 3 credit hours

Advocacy is a key competency of the allied health professional. This course will provide students with a concentrated study of the techniques and reasons for advocating for changes in health and wellness policy, practice, and legislation. This course will develop advocacy skills by enabling students to understand advocacy methods and apply evidence to build broad support for advocacy campaigns among community stakeholders and policymakers.
