MUC 345 - Music Theatre Workshop 5: Golden Age of Music Theatre, 1 credit hour

Prerequisite(s): MUC 246 or consent of instructor
Music Theatre Workshop 5 investigates iconic scenes from Golden Age musicals. Students will work on scenes within the context of the musical. In addition, students will research and analyze each of the musicals utilized in class, as well as the breadth of the Golden Age canon. Solos will also be selected. Audition technique and industry preparation will also be a component of the course.
