HPE 353 - Sport Sales and Sponsorship, 2 credit hours Prerequisite(s): HPE 201 and HPE 243 This course is designed to examine issues related to ticket sales and sponsorship sales as it relates to the sport industry. Primary areas of study include the structure of sales departments, the sales process, and the importance of customer service and retention. The course presents products and sales strategies that are unique to the sport industry. The course will benefit students who are pursuing a career in sales or would like to work for a team, where the primary source of revenue is ticket sales and sponsorships.
