MUC 321I - Music History & Literature 3 Music of the Classical and the Romantic Eras, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MUC 223I or the ability to read music and consent of instructor. Corequisite(s): should be taken concurrently with MUC 311 . A study of stylistic developments and representative masterworks of the Classical and Romantic eras of Western music. Music is studied in its cultural and historical contexts. Includes significant listening, score study, and written work.
