MUC 323I - Music History & Literature 4 Music Since 1900, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MUC 321I or the ability to read music and consent of instructor Corequisite(s): MUC 313 and MUC 314 . A study of stylistic developments and representative masterworks of Western music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Music is studied in its cultural and historical contexts. Includes significant listening, score study, and written work.
Semesters Offered: Offered fall and spring semesters; should be taken concurrently with MUC 313 and MUC 314.
