EDU 207 - Planning Instruction and Guiding Young Children, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): Completion of 100 level EDU courses and EDU 203 Corequisite(s): Must be taken concurrently with EDU 214 In this course, students will examine factors which are necessary to create responsive learning environments for young children. They will also learn to plan developmentally appropriate instruction and will consider the varied curricular domains of effective early childhood programs. This course will further introduce students to techniques for guiding, supporting, and encouraging young children’s positive behavior.
