EDU 276 - Behavioral Management for Students with Mild/Moderate Educational Needs, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): Completion of all 100 level EDU courses; & EDU 274 This course is a study of classroom management approaches for learners ages 5-21, including behaviorist, psychodynamic, environmental, and biophysical models with their legal and ethical implications. Baseline data collection, target behaviors, token economies, contracts and certificates, group processes, medical interventions, and classroom arrangements behavior management and intervention planning are discussed.
A field experience is required.
