MTH 315 - College Geometry, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MTH 206 A continuation of the subject matter and methods of high school geometry, including theorems not taught in high school and an introduction to the modern geometry of the triangle and circle. Special attention is given to methods of proof and solving problems, the viewpoint being that of the prospective teacher or graduate student in mathematics. Finite and non-Euclidean geometries will be studied.
