BUS 591T - Global Business in China, 2 credit hours This course provides an introduction to the dynamic and complex issues involved with doing business in China. Students will explore the complex processes causing rapid change and the pressing problems businesses face in China. Issues to be addressed will include rapid economic growth and development, environmental pollution, the hegemonic role of the government, and China’s emergent role in the global community. The focus is primarily on the contemporary Chinese society, but reference to other countries, particularly the United States, will be made where appropriate.
