MTH 161 - Discrete Structures for Computing, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of high school Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry are prerequisites for all Mathematics courses. This course introduces basic concepts in discrete processes, their underlying theory, and how those concepts apply to computing. Topics include logic, functions, graphs, sets and computational efficiency. This course is required of all Computer Science and Software Engineering majors.
