MTH 105 - Introduction to Probability and Statistics, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of high school Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry are prerequisites for all Mathematics courses. An introductory course designed to promote the understanding of basic statistical and probability concepts. Topics to be studied include descriptive statistics, probability of finite sample spaces, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals and parameter estimation.
