ENG 308 , ENG 316 , ENG 328(D) , ENG 336(D) are not individual courses; they are inclusive categories of courses. For example, there is no course called ENG 328(D) - Studies of Major Authors . Rather, there is ENG 328 Chaucer, ENG 328 Shakespeare, etc. There is no requirement to take one of each number (for example one ENG 316, one ENG 328, etc.). ^If ENG 305 , ENG 308 or ENG 309S was used to fulfill the Writing requirement, it may not be used to fulfill the Advanced Studies requirement as well. A student may not combine the major or minor in English with a major or minor in Creative Writing. English AYA Licensure
