Curriculum for Teachers

All Specializations completed with the MAEd Degree require the following 12 hours:

• EDU 511 - Educational Research, 3 credit hours
• Advanced Practice Minor, 9 credit hours

• K-12 MAEd candidates acquire a deep understanding and advanced skills in their area of specialization. Degree candidates also earn an Advanced Practice Minor that broadens their preparation and allows for an additional teaching focus. Advanced Practice Minors can be earned in the following ways:
