The Master of Art in Management program enables students to build on specialized knowledge they learned in their bachelor’s program by acquiring the business fundamentals associated with a graduate degree in management, including accounting, finance, operations, marketing, management, law, economics, and strategic thinking. Students will layer these business competencies with their current skills as they develop an understanding of business operations. At the completion of the program, graduates will be ready to build a career in management in a variety of organizations including for-profit, non-profit, governmental or other businesses.
This is a one year (three semester) cohort program for recent graduates with majors other than business. Classes are held weekdays with a five-week break in the spring term to allow a fulltime internship experience. Students also participate in site visits to local organizations throughout the program. Designed for liberal-arts and sciences students, this program serves a diverse group with a variety of career aspirations. Students must have completed their undergraduate degree prior to the start of this program and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
