The major in Pre-Physical Therapy/Pre-Allied Health is designed to provide a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of allied health science and exercise science. The major offers the preparation necessary for continued study toward a degree in physical therapy or a related allied health profession. Students who complete this program can pursue further education in Physical or Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistants, Chiropractics, Podiatry and Nursing.

- HPE 321 - Adapted Physical Activity, 3 credit hours

Students planning to pursue a graduate degree in physical therapy should consider PSY 100 , PSY 205 , PSY 302 , SOC 100D , and an additional statistics course. Other elective courses might be: HPE 335 , HPE 423D , HPE 445 , HPE 070X .
Courses required for the major do not necessarily need to be taken in the sequence listed unless as specified by course prerequisites.
