Understanding the director’s job in the theatrical hierarchy of collaboration is key to working successfully as a theatre artist. In this exploration of the director’s role, you will be introduced to the basic principles of directing for the stage and script analysis. This includes gaining practical experience through rehearsing and presenting a scene in a supportive studio environment.
