ECN 279 - Basic Statistical Methods, 3 credit hours Prerequisite(s): MTH 120 or higher Introduction to basic statistical concepts and techniques including descriptive statistics, probability, and inferential statistics including sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression. Emphasis is placed on data analysis and quantitative literacy with applications in economics, business and the social sciences.
