ART 435 - Senior Show Prep, 1 credit hour

Prerequisite(s): ART 140, ART 241, ART 250, ART 278, ART 350, ART 361, and ART 362
Students must be graduating in the following Spring semester and have completed the required prerequisites to complete this course. This course integrates the skills and knowledge students acquired the Visual Communication Design program and applies them to a professional portfolio presentation setting that guides students to design, brand, and market their senior show. Student’s will work as a class to develop a theme and design a visual brand for their Senior Exhibition. Each student will share the marketing and prep responsibilities. Show marketing includes, but is not limited to postcards, digital signage, e-blast, website, press release, posters and much more. Students will work within the gallery space to present and promote their work and the work of their classmates.
